At TNT Fly Tickets, we act as a travel agent between you and the airline. This means that refund eligibility is primarily governed by the airline's own fare rules, which vary depending on the ticket type, route, and timing of your cancellation request.

We are committed to processing all refund requests promptly and transparently. Our team will always advocate on your behalf with the airline to secure the best possible outcome.

How to Request a Refund

The airline processes the refund. This stage is outside our control and typically takes 8–12 weeks depending on the carrier.

Once approved, the refund is returned to your original payment method. You'll receive a confirmation email from us.

Refund Timeframes

Refund processing times vary depending on the airline and payment method. Below are typical timelines:

  • Credit/Debit Card refunds β€” 8 to 12 weeks from the date the airline approves the refund
  • Bank transfer refunds β€” 8 to 12 weeks from approval
  • Travel vouchers/credits β€” issued within 2 to 4 weeks
  • Duplicate booking refunds β€” 4 to 8 weeks

Service Fees

TNT Fly Tickets charges a service fee for booking assistance and managing your reservation. Please note the following regarding our fees:

  • Our service fees are non-refundable in all circumstances
  • This applies even if the airline fare itself is refundable
  • Any applicable service fee will be clearly disclosed to you before payment is taken
  • Airline cancellation or amendment fees are separate and charged by the airline directly
❗ Our service fee is non-refundable as it covers the cost of our agents' time in sourcing, booking, and managing your reservation.

Airline-Initiated Cancellations

If your flight is cancelled by the airline, you are generally entitled to one of the following under UK and international aviation regulations:

  • A full refund of the ticket price to the original payment method
  • Rebooking on the next available flight at no extra charge
  • A travel voucher or credit (where applicable)

In such cases, please contact us as soon as possible and we will liaise with the airline on your behalf to arrange the best available remedy.

βœ… For EU/UK-regulated flights, you may also be entitled to compensation under UK261/EU261 regulations if the cancellation was within the airline's control. Ask our team for details.

Amendments & Date Changes

If you wish to change your travel dates or route rather than cancel, this may be possible depending on your fare type:

  • Date changes are subject to the airline's amendment policy and fare availability
  • A fare difference may apply if the new flight is more expensive
  • Amendment fees set by the airline will be passed on to you
  • Our rebooking service fee may apply for processing the change
  • Changes must be requested before the original departure date β€” no changes are possible after a flight has departed

Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • TNT Fly Tickets service and booking fees
  • Non-refundable airline fare components
  • No-show bookings (failure to board without prior cancellation)
  • Travel insurance premiums (if arranged through us)
  • Ancillary services such as seat upgrades, extra baggage, or meal pre-orders (subject to airline policy)
  • Bookings cancelled after the departure date

Disputes & Chargebacks

We always aim to resolve refund concerns quickly and fairly. If you are unhappy with the outcome of your refund request, please follow these steps:

  • Contact our customer service team at info@tntflytickets.com to raise a formal complaint
  • We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 business days and aim to resolve it within 14 business days
  • If unresolved, you may escalate to your card issuer or bank
⚠️ Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks raised without prior contact may delay your refund and could result in your booking being flagged. We are always happy to resolve issues directly and promptly.
